Voice is paid for separately from your plan. You pay in advance for minutes and for your dedicated number, and nothing is ever charged after the fact.

Prices

Voice minute packs are one-off payments:

PackPrice
100 minutes£49
250 minutes£115
500 minutes£225
1,000 minutes£449

Dedicated number: £11.99 a month, added to your subscription.

Pro voice item: £100 a month on the Pro plan. It includes 200 minutes a month and the dedicated number. It is a separate item on your subscription, not a different plan, so your other Pro limits are unchanged. The annual discount does not apply to it: it stays £100 a month.

Not available in a trial

Voice is a paid feature: trials don't place live calls. Minute packs and the number cannot be bought during a trial. Start your plan first, then add voice.

Buying minutes

Only the workspace owner can buy a minute pack or add the dedicated number.

  1. Step 1: Choose a pack and pay in the Stripe checkout.
  2. Step 2: The minutes are added once Stripe confirms the payment.

The dedicated number is added to your existing subscription, and the first month is prorated.

How minutes are counted

  • To the second. A call that lasts 2 minutes 14 seconds uses 2 minutes 14 seconds.
  • Only calls that connect. A call that is not answered, is cancelled before it starts, or fails uses no minutes.
  • Included minutes first, then packs. On Pro, the 200 included minutes are used before any pack minutes.
  • A full call is set aside first. Every call has a 5 minute time budget, which can be extended by up to 2 minutes when a close is in progress. So before dialling, 7 minutes are set aside from your balance. When the call ends, only the time actually used is taken and the rest goes straight back. This means you need at least 7 minutes left to start a call.

No overage

There is no overage. When your minutes run out, calls stop until you buy a pack or your included minutes are renewed. A call is never started that your balance cannot cover, so you are never charged for minutes you have not bought.

What carries over

  • Included minutes on the Pro voice item are renewed each billing period and do not roll over. Unused included minutes are lost at the end of the period.
  • Pack minutes never expire. They stay on your balance until they are used.
  • Packs are non-refundable once used.

When you are running low

When a finished call takes you past 75%, 90% or 100% of your minutes, you get a notification in the app. At 75% and 90% it says roughly how many minutes are left. At 100% it tells you calls are paused until you buy a pack, and that nothing more will be charged.
