LinkedIn Assist

A daily list of LinkedIn actions with messages written for you, paced to keep your account safe. You send each one yourself from your own LinkedIn account

2 min readUpdated 28 September 2026

Follow-Up → LinkedIn Assist gives you today's LinkedIn actions with the message already written. You open the person's profile, send it from your own LinkedIn account and mark it sent. ClientTurn never logs in to LinkedIn, runs a browser extension or sends anything on your behalf: it writes and paces, and you send. That is what keeps your account safe. See Why ClientTurn never automates LinkedIn sending.

Everyone except viewers has their own list. It needs an active plan.

Set your pacing first

Under Pacing for your account, choose Your LinkedIn plan and set how much the list may give you. You can only set these lower than the ceilings:

SettingCeiling
Connection requests a day15
Connection requests a week80
Messages a day30. Replies to people who wrote to you are never held back
Days between steps3 to 30, 4 by default

A free LinkedIn account only gets a few personal invitation notes a month, so once they are used the list offers the connection request without a note. Pause my list stops new actions; replies still show.

Add people

Under Add people, choose a lead and paste Their LinkedIn profile (linkedin.com/in/their-name), or add prospects that have a LinkedIn profile. Choose the First step: Connection request, or InMail (uses a credit). Today's list fills up to your pacing.

Work through today's list

Each action shows the message and where it came from (Written by AI, Suggested by the assistant, Your words or Standard message). Edit it if you like, then:

  • Open profile and send it in LinkedIn. Copy message puts the text on your clipboard.
  • Mark sent so the pacing and the next step stay right.
  • Not accepted yet checks again later if a connection request is still waiting.
  • Rewrite asks for a new draft. Skip drops the action.

After a connection request, follow-ups come after the days you set, at most two.

When they reply

ClientTurn cannot read your LinkedIn inbox. Choose Log reply and paste what they wrote. The assistant drafts your answer on the list, under the same rules as every other channel, and nothing goes until you send it yourself. If the reply asks not to be contacted, they are added to your do-not-contact list and taken off every sequence, and no answer is drafted.

Where another channel would suit the person better, the action offers Email, SMS or Call to move them. Each is only offered when that channel is allowed for them.

ClientTurn support can pause LinkedIn Assist for a workspace. While it is paused, replies still show but nothing new can be added.
